The family business - China and Glass

This was started in 1891 by my grand-father who is seen in both photographs below.  The left one was taken in 1891 when the business started and is located in Aston, which in those days lay just outside Birmingham.  The second picture shows my grand-father, just before his death, with my father as a boy.  It was taken around 1912 when my father was 11.  This shop was located on the Moseley Rd about two miles from the city centre.

The third picture is of the next shop, further up the Moseley Rd, in what is still called Moseley Village, a few years before the 1912 shop.
